Luke Days

This year the boys LOVED Luke Days... last time they were a bit young and the sound of the planes was a bit overwhelming.
I had to work so Jared took the boys on the bike down to Luke Air Force Base on the bike to check out the show. They spent a few hours there on Saturday down there and on Sunday, they watched from the backyard. I was driving home from work at the end of the show on sun and got to see the Thunderbirds flying above me. When I got home, the boys were hanging in the backyard watching the show... SO COOL....

Last week Jared's bike group hosted an annual ride around the White Tanks, in memory of a friend of his who was killed while riding w/the bike group. I was working that day, so Jared took the boys to help w/the setup, registration and ride organization. They had a blast!

So I'm finally going to try my hand at this blogging thing.. been thinking about if for a few years now. And I have so much free time, why the heck not? :)

Today.... wishing lil sis Kel a super happy birthday and spending a lot of time thinking of little miss Sammy and hoping she is well on her way to recovery.
